Brian M. Joyce, CFP®
Brian is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and is president/owner of Lighthouse Investment Group, Inc. Along with executive management responsibilities, Brian serves as financial advisor to the firm's clients and, as an entrepreneur, is generator of new business development.
Brian graduated from Saint Anselm College with a BA in business administration with a concentration in finance. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities registrations as well as life, accident, and health licenses. Prior to allying his firm with Commonwealth Financial Network® in 1998, Brian was employed by American Express Financial Advisors for two years, where he held a management position.
Brian lives in Marshfield, Massachusetts, with his wife, Michelle, and four children: Joseph, Thomas, James, and Sofia. Brian is active in local youth sports and in the Marshfield community. He has a strong belief in giving back and volunteers at the Marshfield Food Pantry and Mainspring House in Brockton.
Dean M. Sylvester
Dean is vice president/owner of Lighthouse Investment Group, Inc. Dean handles much of the work associated with client acquisition and ongoing client support, including the production of materials for client reviews or new client orientation meetings. He also plays a key role in our office management as well as investment research and portfolio construction. Maintaining client management at a quality level is something Dean strives for, which is critical to our daily operations.
Dean graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in finance. Prior to his time at Lighthouse Investment Group, Inc., Dean played professional hockey for six years, including with the NHL's Atlanta Thrashers and Buffalo Sabres. Dean holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 securities registrations and is an Investment Adviser Representative*.
Dean resides in Plympton, Massachusetts, with his wife, Michelle, and daughter, Mckenna. He is active in his community, having served on the board of directors for Plympton Recreation Committee and coaching youth soccer. Working for and giving back to his community is one of Dean's main priorities.
